Frequently asked
Does DataVis Studio need an internet connection?
Only to activate your licence, and for an occasional licence check. If a PC is never online you can activate it with a code from your account instead. Working with your data is entirely offline.
Can I run it without admin rights or an installation?
Yes. Copy the folder anywhere, including a USB stick, and run it. There's no installer and no registry changes.
Is my data safe?
Your data never leaves your computer unless you export it yourself. There's no cloud component and nothing about your files is sent anywhere.
I've replaced my PC — how do I move my licence?
Sign in to your account, deactivate the old PC, then activate the new one. You can also deactivate from inside the program.
I lost the download link.
Download links work once, for your security. Sign in to your account and request a new one at any time.
Do you offer licences for organisations?
Yes — tell us how many people will use it and we'll set up an organisation licence with a monthly invoice. Contact us.
