Terms

These terms apply to your use of pbaventures.co.uk and to DataVis Studio personal licences bought through it. PBA Ventures Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 14724965). Contact: info@pbaventures.co.uk.

1. Consultancy and organisation services

Consultancy, the telehealth platform and DataVis Studio organisation licences are provided under a separate written agreement with each client. If that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement applies.

2. DataVis Studio personal licence

  • When you buy a personal licence you get a lifetime licence for one named person to use DataVis Studio on up to two Windows PCs that they use. You can move the licence to a different PC by deactivating an old one in your account.
  • The licence is personal to you: it may not be shared, sold or used by an organisation for several people (organisations should contact us).
  • The software is licensed, not sold. You may not copy it except as needed to use it, or reverse engineer, modify or redistribute it, except where the law allows.
  • The program checks its licence with pbaventures.co.uk when it is activated and occasionally afterwards. We may cancel a licence that is misused, shared beyond these terms, or refunded.
  • Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT where applicable.

3. Your right to cancel

As a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content such as DataVis Studio, that right ends once the download or licence is supplied with your agreement. If the software is faulty, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — contact us and we'll put it right or refund you.

4. Invoices for organisations

Invoices are payable within the terms shown on the invoice. Any online-payment discount applies only when the invoice is paid through the website by card or Direct Debit.

5. Your account

Keep your sign-in details and two-factor method secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

6. Using the site

Don't attempt to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with the site, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses where you use DataVis Studio for business purposes under a personal licence. Our total liability for a personal licence is limited to the price you paid.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you bought applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
